Uploading CFG Configuration Files
You can upload cfg configuration files from your PC to Device Manager. Once uploaded, you can update the new configuration to the device.

To upload a cfg file to Device Manager: |

1.

Open the Generated Configuration Azure Files page (Setup > Configuration > Generated Config Files). |
The page is mainly used to find a device's cfg file according to its MAC address.

From the ‘Customer’ drop-down, select the customer. |
|
3.
|
In the 'MAC' field, enter the MAC address of the device and then click . |
|
4.
|
[Optionally] Click icon to open the file in a new tab. |
|
5.
|
[Optionally] Click icon to copy the file URL to clipboard. |
|
6.
|
[Optionally] Click the trash bin icon to delete the cfg file. |
|
7.
|
Click the icon to upload the cfg file of the device associated with this MAC, to Device Manager. |
|
8.
|
Under the section ‘Configuration File’, click Choose File and browse to the cfg file located on your PC. |
|
9.
|
Under the section ‘Latest File’, select the 'Model Type' and the 'Model'; the 'Version' field is automatically selected and is read-only. |
|
10.
|
Click Upload; the cfg file is uploaded from admin's PC to Device Manager. The device's configuration is updated using one of the following methods: |

Updated using the Update Configuration action. |

In the Device Status page, from the Actions menu, choose Update Configuration. |
